Annual IFCC Survey

Dear members,

We would like to invite you to complete the annual IFCC Survey which has been developed by CPD and the Committee on Public Relations to survey the membership across the IFCC organization and seek input on the impact and effectiveness of IFCC publications, scientific and educational programs, and various IFCC activities globally.

The questionnaire should take five to ten minutes of your time and your participation will be greatly appreciated. The answers will be kept strictly confidential and only used for the purposes of this research. The results of the survey will be analysed and published in the IFCC newsletter annually. The data will also be made available on the IFCC website and presented at IFCC regional conferences.

Extended deadline for abstract submission for 5th EFLM-UEMS European Joint Congress in Laboratory Medicine

Dear members,

We inform you that you can now register online for “5th EFLM-UEMS European Joint Congress in Laboratory Medicine” and encourage you to not miss the last abstract submission deadline which has been extended to 30th June 2018.

5th EFLM-UEMS European Joint Congress in Laboratory Medicine "Laboratory Medicine at the Clinical Interface" will be held from 10th to 13th October 2018 in the city of Antalya, Turkey.

New EFLM webinar „The order of draw“

Dear all,

We would like to invite you to the EFLM webinar „The order of draw“ to be held on 15th of May 2018 at 6 PM. The speaker will be dr. Michael Cornes (UK) who is Chair of the UK Preanalytics Working Group and member of the EFLM Working Group for the Preanalytical Phase.

Dr. Cornes will present the evidence for and against the need to follow an order of draw during phlebotomy recommended by national and international (WHO, CLSI) quidelines.

EFLM is happy to remind you that the attendance to the webinars is free of charge and that the recording of the lectures will be available afterwards on at the EFLM e-learning platform for those unable to attend.

New issue of eJIFCC

eJIFCC is an online journal published four times per year . It reviews original articles, posters, case studies according to the needs of clinical laboratories in the world. It also publishes IFCC's news, letters, reviews of books, discussions and educational material to help develope clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine around the world.
